Just a couple of housekeeping items to begin with......
-Please, be on time. You will be checked in by the AD Department and fill out paperwork before we can look at you. If you are late then the Costume Department does not get as much time to make sure you look great. You are gonna be on TV after all..... just sayin' :-)
-Always come dressed in your first, best choice of the descriptions for your character. After reading the character descriptions that you will find here, make your best pick and wear it in. However, you will ALWAYS be expected to bring options with you so that we can make the final choices. The final choices will be made by the Costume Dept. Please respect that we have the overview of the day and the show, and do not complain about what we ask you to wear.
The scene that you'll be shooting in tomorrow is an annual Winter Fair, the kick-off to the Christmas Season for our folks. The whole neighborhood turns out and it is a lot of fun. The atmosphere is festive full of holiday spirit.
Obviously, we would like you to bring things that feel like Christmas. Things that are red and green, fun christmas sweaters, vests, plaid shirts and skirts, etc. In addition to red and green and winter white, remember that Christmas colors can also include jewel tones like purple and teal. Metallics are also great holiday staples. Gold, silver and copper are also festive, as are things that have a little sparkle and shine.
Plaids, stripes and other pattern and textures like cable knit sweaters also evoke the season.
If you have Santa hats, elf hats, reindeer antlers, lite up necklaces, Christmas jewelry and other Christmas novelty item, please bring those along as well. Let's be as kind to our sound man as we can be though, and keep the jingle bells to a minimum :-)

In addition to all things Christmas-y, please also bring some basic, winter clothing in the color charts for the show, like solid color pullover sweaters, basic long sleeve button down shirts and blouses, sweater sets and cardigans. This way we have the option of taking the room down a bit, should we need to.
NEIGHBORS & KIDS should wear and bring options of the following:
sweaters, cardigans, sweater vests
Christmas sweaters and sweatshirts
long sleeve tees and pullover shirt and blouse options
long sleeve button front shirts and blouses in plaids and stripes and other seasonal patterns
plain long sleeve button front shirts
dresses and skirts and blouses for the ladies
blazers and sport coats
khakis, cords and nice non ripped jeans
casual and dress shoes
jewelry, scarves and other accessories. Christmas jewelry, if you ladies have it.
Following are some colors that we think are fun and festive and will work with a holiday theme... and they're not all red and green :-)
See you on the set!!
